About place

On Kovelska Street in the XV-XVI centuries the Friday Church was built. It is known for the fact that Ivan-Yosafat-Kuntsevych, a saint of the Greek Catholic Church, a native of our city, prayed there. In the same area of the city was the Friday Gate through which it was possible to enter the city in the XV-XVI centuries. Now in its place there is a memorial sign.
